PE Halftube
PE halftube is a packaging film made from polyethylene, supplied on a roll in a half-tube, or folded, form. The film is folded along its length, so it can be used to wrap, cover or form a pack around the product, either on a packing line or by hand.
PE halftube is an unsealed folded film. It is suitable for automatic packaging, where the packaging machine fills the bag and welds it closed both horizontally and vertically along both sides. The pack is created right on the machine, around the product.

Flexible pack sizes
Because the film comes on a roll, each pack can be cut to the length the product needs. You are not tied to bags of a fixed size, and each pack uses only as much film as it requires. That is why there is less waste than with pre-cut bags.
Fast, simple packing
The folded form is easy to handle and helps speed up manual and semi-automatic packing. The film is already folded along its length, so it is ready to form a pack around the product with very little effort.
Versatile material
Polyethylene is available in different thicknesses and widths, so the film can match the product and the strength required. Whatever you are packing, the halftube can be chosen to suit it.
Printing options
The film can carry a printed brand, logo or product information. In this way the pack does not only hold the product, it also presents it to the customer.
